Great Warford Baptist Chapel is located in Merrymans Lane, between Mobberley and Alderley Edge. The present building has been in use since 1712, though  its origins go back to 1642.

 The Methodist Church, situated in Faulkners Lane, was  opened in 1882. Services are held as follows:
10.45  - 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays in the month.
(Children leave the main service for Sunday School in the Schoolroom)

09.30  - 3rd Sunday in the month.
 (Family service)
18.30  - 2nd Sunday in the month.
 (Evening service)

Other church activities are:

Shell Group: Children 7 to 11 years, 6.00-7.3Opm every Thursday
Esso Group: Children 11-15 years, 7.30-9.OOpm alternate Tuesdays
The Thursday Club for older members meets weekly at 10.30 for an informal social hour.
