Mobberley C of E Primary school was founded in 1838, extended in the 1950s and again in 1997. The accommodation comprises four attractive classrooms, a computer suite, practical area, library and halt. Surrounded by farm land, with a playground and playing field, it provides an ideal learning environment.
The school is proud of its family atmosphere. Each child is valued and nutured to achieve full potential. All national curriculum subjects are taught and there is the opportunity for the children to participate in sports events with other schools. French and musical instrument tuition are also available.
There are close links with St. Wilfrid’s Church. Services are held in Church every half-term and parents are warmly invited to attend. The school aims to foster the growth of Christian values whilst having an understanding of and respect for the beliefs of other cultures and religions. Parental support is strong and many parents and grandparents come in to school to help. The Friends of Mobbertey arrange many social events which also raise money for the school.
The school is at the heart of the community and combines the best of traditional and modern values. The child transfers successfully to various secondary schools in the locality.

Sessions are held at the Victory Hall three mornings weekly - Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9.OOam to 12 noon. Children are accepted from age 2 years 6 months and continue up to full-time schooling. The playgroup includes qualified staff and is run by a committee of volunteer parents. It has close links with the Primary School and offers good value, quality pre-school care.
