This is a tour along Damson* Lane for Mary-Ann Cook of Tasmania, Australia whose ancestors used to live at Dam Head House / Farm from 1650 until c1880.
Dam(son) Lane was no doubt named after the dam that created a mill pool which was the source of water supplying the Mill once located on Mill Lane.
The name persists today on some maps, see above link.
